Located in Montova, Italy, Pinfari produced several models of steel coasters,
many of which are portable. Their most common models were the Wacky Worm kiddie coasters and Zyklon steel coasters.
Pinfari built over 200 Zyklon coasters between 1965 and 2004. The
Zyklon models came in about six different designs, all named after the length of the coaster's footprint in meters. Their most common designs
were the Z47 and Z64, but they also built a number of Z40 rides and even a couple of Z78 versions. In the 1980s, they began to add loops to some
coasters, so looping versions had a letter "L" added to the designations and ZL42 and ZL50 rides were fabricated.
Pinfari made its first roller coaster in 1954. The company was liquidated in
2004. Its brand and coaster designs were acquired by the Italian
Interpark Amusements in 2007.
