Cyclone

Cyclone was an extremely rough ride, and many coaster enthusiasts were quick to voice their dislike it, but Six Flags took steps to improve the ride.  In 2011, a section of the track was replaced with "Topper Track" from Rocky Mountain Construction.  This steel track replaced the top two layers of the seven-layer wooden track as well as the steel plates bolted onto the wood.  The company claimed that it provided a smoother ride, lowered maintenance and repair costs, and reduced the fatigue on the structure.  It smoothed the modified section of the ride considerably, but instead of adding more "Topper Track," Rocky Mountain Construction made almost a completely new ride in 2015.
