This Sterling, Colorado company builds a wide variety of rides. It was founded as Wisdom Industries by Jerry Wisdom in 1969. It changed its name to Wisdom Rides after
a few years, and recently it started calling itself Wisdom Rides of America. The company
has made about 50 small, portable coasters. They say that two people can set up one of their little carnival coasters in as little as 90 minutes! They
market their coaster models as "Family Coaster" and "Kiddie Coaster," but you will often see
them referred to as Dragon Wagon, Miner Mike, and Orient Express coasters. Wisdom also makes a lot of "powered coasters" that look like roller coasters, but
rely on electric motors to move them around their tracks.
