Haunted Trails

Burbank, Illinois

Situated just south of Chicago, this is one of three parks that make up of the Trails Family Entertainment Centers. There are two Haunted Trails locations and one Enchanted Castle location, but only the Burbank one has a roller coaster. This park, which is owned by J. Richard Oltmann, opened in 1975 and covers 3.5 acres. The park is open through the year, but the outdoor rides only operate when weather permits.

Oltmann also owns the Family Fun Companies, a manufacturer of a wide variety of "redemption games" and simulators featured at arcades and amusement parks throughout the world.
