City Park
Pueblo, Colorado
Pueblo's City Park covers 157 acres and is home to the City Bark dog park, the Pueblo Zoo, the
City Park Pool, the City Park Carousel, the Pueblo City Golf Course, the Sgt. Blake A. Harris Skate Board Park, a miniature train, picnic areas, walking paths, and bicycle trails.
The land originally was owned by Charles Dittmer, but after the Silver Crash of 1893, and the Panic of 1903, he sold the land to the city of
Pueblo in 1903. A lot of the structures there were built in the 1930s by the Works Progress Administration. The Rides at City Park currently has a handful of small rides and
one roller coaster.
