     The Adventuredome is a 5 acre (20,000 square meter) indoor amusement park located on the Las Vegas Strip.  It is connected to the Circus Circus Hotel via The Promenade.  The park opened in 1993 and was originally called Grand Slam Canyon.  The dome consists of over 350,000 square feet (33,000 square meters) of pink-tinted glass.  Each pane weighs about 300 pounds (140 kg).
