SeaWorld Orlando is a 200-acre park that has shows, rides, and animal encounters. The park used to be primarily known for Shamu the killer whale, dolphins, sea lions, stingrays, penguins, sharks, a variety of animal shows, but the park's focus is now less on the animals and more on the rides. The park, which opened in 1973, was owned by Busch Entertainment Corporation, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch, but after InBev purchased Anheuser-Busch, they sold the amusement parks off to the Blackstone Group for $2.7 billion. The new company soon became the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Company. SeaWorld Orlando is located next to Discovery Cove and the Aquatica waterpark.
