Stricker's Grove is a family owned and operated private amusement park available to rent to large groups for family picnics, wedding receptions, meetings and other such occasions. The park, located just north of Cincinnati, is usually open to the public only two days each year.
The park started in 1924 in Mt. Healthy, Ohio by Henry Stricker. It was just a picnic area for his friends an co-workers. Since he raised chickens, when a dance hall was eventually added, it was built with the intention that it could be converted into a chicken coop if the park failed. Rides appeared in the 1950s. In 1972, Henry's son Ralph relocated the park to its current location. At last count, the park has 16 rides on its 25 acres of land.
