Orient Express

Built in 1980, this was the first Arrow coaster with a "Kamikaze Curve" element.  This new maneuver (also known as a Boomerang element) partially visible in foreground of this picture, had the train perform half a corkscrew, half a vertical loop, then another half corkscrew to end up traveling the opposite direction from which it started.
