Sky Rocket

Even though Kennywood worked hard to get Sky Rocket running for the American Coaster Enthusiasts, a lot of things were still missing from the ride.  Only one train was running, because the transfer track was not yet operating and could not load the second train.  And from this angle, you can see that there is no fall protection for riders and employees on the loading platform.  A temporary wall of yellow bags of concrete mix helped keep people away from the ledge, but that has since been replaced by a more permanent system.
