Orphan Rocker

Orphan Rocker never opened to the public.  When it was completed in the late 1980s, it was determined that it needed modifications before operating.  However, Scenic World's owners decided to spend the money on the new Scenic Skyway and Scenic Cableway instead of changing the coaster.  A few years later, the coaster was worked on, but the park claims that changes to safety laws would require even greater modifications.  As recently as 2005, the owners claimed that they were working on the ride and intended to open it, but based on the vegetation growing through the track and the number of trees that had fallen on it, I doubt it has seen any activity in many years.
