Coaster Thrill Ride
Coaster Thrill Ride was built in 1935 by Edward H. Bollinger, a Swiss immigrant who operated a kiddie airplane ride and a 45-foot Ferris wheel in this area. Bollinger also owned Oaks Park in Portland, Oregon. The coaster was redesigned by Walker LeRoy in 1950 so it could use modern trains as opposed to the side-friction trains originally used on the ride.
