Tower of Terror II

A linear synchronous motor (LSM) system accelerates the car along the horizontal portion of the track.  The car reaches speeds of 160 kilometers per hour (100 miles per hour) during the launch.  Riders are then subjected to a 4.5 positive g-force as the track pitches the car up 90 degrees.
