Copper Mountain

Frisco, Colorado

Copper Mountain sits 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado and is one of the closest ski resorts to Denver. Open since the early 1970s, the resort has more than 2,500 acres of skiable terrain. The base of Copper Mountain is at 9,700 feet and its summit is 12,441 feet above sea level. With 24 chair lifts and 157 marked trails, Copper Mountain is a very popular place to ski in the winter. There is also ice staking, cross country skiing, tubing, shopping, dining, and one alpine coaster. The area is part of the POWDR Adventure Lifestyle Company, a company that owns nine ski resorts in the United States.
