Big Thunder Mountain

Big Thunder Mountain is a steel coaster.  The track, ties between the rails, and the structure supporting the track are all made of metal.  In order to look like an old railroad, Disney placed a lot of wood around the track, even going as far as placing wooden railroad ties between the metal ties welded to the track.
