Big Thunder Mountain
It is hard to see in the shadows, but the bottom of the third chain lift is in this structure. During the climb, trains encounter a simulated earthquake. The effect is produced by swinging miners' lamps, projected shadows of falling rocks, and some rumbling noises. Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had its original earthquake effects replaced by a simulated TNT explosion, but the ride in Tokyo has had its earthquake features since its opening date.
