Do-Dodonpa

I was surprised to heard about this ride's closure in 2021.  The coaster operated for a decade and a half without any major issues.  Even after its hill was replaced with a loop, the ride operated for a few years without any reported injuries.  So why the injuries now?  Has something changed to the ride?  Are people reacting poorly to the experience of the launch?  It is just bad luck?   I really don't know, but I hope the ride reopens... I want to get to ride it some day!
