Hurricane

From March 1981 to June 2004, this coaster operated as Tornado at the Kintetsu Ayameika amusement park in Nara, Japan.  At its former location, much of the coaster was positioned over a small lake.  In fact, two of the park's three roller coasters were built over the lake.  This beautiful park closed permanently in 2004 and the land was converted into housing developments and an elementary school.  The coaster's current location is less than a 2-hour drive west of where Kintetsu Ayameika used to be.
