Gadget's Go Coaster

This ride is a "Roller Skater" model Junior Roller Coaster designed and built by Vekoma.  The model got its name since many of its versions have cars shaped like roller skates.  For example, here is an American ride literally called Roller Skater with a train made out of roller skate cars.

While Gadget's Go Coaster has the same layout as many other Vekoma "Roller Skater" junior coasters, this copy has several significant things that set it apart from nearly every other copy.  A segment of transfer track was added to this ride which allows it to operate with two trains at once, a feature that only a couple other versions have.  Secondly, most rides of this model type use motorized tires to lift trains up the first hill, but this one uses a chain lift to hoist the trains.  The most startling visual difference is the addition of a walkway adjacent to all of the track that is more than a couple meters above ground level.  The red metal mesh walkway runs adjacent to the track and is impossible to miss in images like this one.  It seems regulations impose a requirement that allows maintenance workers to walk next to the track of Japanese coasters, because I have seen other rides in the country with extensive walkways along their entire courses just like this one.  In most countries, walkways are usually only positioned at lower parts of the track where trains may settle during a malfunction, or along sections of brakes where a train might be halted.
