On June 21, 1995, Disney announced that they would build their fourth and largest Florida park. Michael Eisner described the park as "based on mankind's enduring love for animals and celebrating all animals that ever or never existed." This unique park is a combination of an amusement park and a zoo. It has thrill rides, wonderful animal encounters, lots of shows and movies, and a fantastic safari. The huge park has been growing since its opening in April 1998.
