This site started as the Mountasia Family Fun Center in 1995. It was a typical outdoor Family Entertainment Center
featuring mini-golf, bumper boats, a go-kart track, and batting cages. Its owners listed it for sale in 2019, but it remained in operation until October 2021.
Merlin Entertainment, the London company that operates nearly a dozen Legoland parks, five theme parks in England, and about two dozen Madame Tussauds wax museums,
purchased the property. The land was zoned to permit an amusement park, but all of the buildings and attractions of the former Fun Center were removed and replaced by new
buildings, rides, show areas, and shopping and dining facilities. The park reopened in early 2025 as the world's third Peppa Pig Theme Park. The park now covers about 14 acres.
From 2015 to 2019, the area was home to the tiny Miner Mike coaster. Built by Wisdom Rides,
it was shorter than six feet tall and contained fewer than 100 feet of track.
