Located just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, this small park got its start as Dixieland Fun Park in 1990. In 2012,
the park's name changed to Fun Junction USA. A few years later, the park was purchased by the Fun Spot America Theme Parks group, a family-owned business run
by John Arie, Senior. In 1997, he opened the
Fun Spot Action Park in Orlando, Florida, the park currently called
Fun Spot Orlando. About a decade later, he expanded by creating
Fun Spot USA in Kissimmee, Florida, the park currently called
Fun Spot Kissimmee. He purchased the park in Georgia in 2017 and renamed it
Fun Spot America Atlanta. His son John Arie, Jr. is currently owner and CEO of Fun Spot America Theme Parks.
The park had a massive expansion with the addition of ArieForce One in 2023. Built by
Rocky Mountain Construction, the
custom steel coaster has an 83° drop and 4 inversions.
