When Kentucky Kingdom became a Six Flags park in 1999 and was renamed Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, the red coaster was painted black, and it was announced it would be re-themed as Batman The Ride. The coaster never received the Batman theme, so it remained T2 for the next decade. It returned to its original red color in 2015.
