The coaster was partially rebuilt in 1992 and some of the hills were reprofiled in 1999.
So how much similarity does this coaster have to the one that opened near Boston in 1917? Not much. How many parts on this coaster are from 1917? I would be surprised if anything on Wild One is older than the 1980s. But while this ride doesn't bear much semblance to the original, I am glad to see that an old-fashioned wood coaster has continued, even though it has been modified and moved.
