Sky Spin
You may have noticed that I don't have any pictures of Sky Spin running. If you look carefully at the pictures, you will see that this car has been on the lift hill in every single picture. Unfortunately, during my visit to the park, this coaster broke down. The media often makes a big deal when coasters stop like this, but it is not that newsworthy. There are anti-rollback mechanisms on lift hills, so cars simply stop if there is a problem with the lift. As you can see by this picture, the passengers and the ride operators all seem pretty relaxed at this point. The worst case scenario would be that the passengers get manually released from their restraints and have to walk down the stairs. A better outcome would be that the lift chain would restart and this car would finally get to run through the course. Because of my limited time at the park, I didn't stick around to see what happened, but I hope these kids got their ride after waiting patiently at this spot.
