Top Thrill Dragster
This image shows nearly all of Top Thrill Dragster with the exception of the loading and unloading platform.
Dragster is nearly identical to Six Flags Great Adventure's Kingda Ka. Both rides were built by Intamin, but Kingda Ka launches about eight miles an hour faster, stands 35 feet taller, and has nearly an 18-foot longer drop. Where Dragster ends with a flat brake run, Kingda Ka has a 129-foot-tall hill at the end of the ride. The New Jersey version also has parallel tracks passing through its loading platform which allows four trains to load and unload simultaneously. Unfortunately, I have read reports that only one side of its station has been used in recent years.
