Vortex

Large fabric pouches are mounted below and behind each set of wheels.  These black pouches are designed to catch any oil that drops from the wheels, axles, and bearings.  Each train utilizes 84 wheels to attach it to the track.  Since a seized wheel might cause the train to come to a stop on the course, it is vital that the variety of wheels keeps rolling smoothly.  I don't know how often these wheels are oiled, but it may be as frequently as every day or two.
