Starliner

This classic ride first opened in 1963 at the Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City, Florida.  After about a decade of operation, a large tunnel was added to the ride.  The entrance to this tunnel was shaped like a dragon and positioned so that trains entered the dragon's mouth.  The park permanently closed in September 2004, but the coaster, which was the park's only roller coaster at the time, was spared from the wrecking ball and was moved to Cypress Gardens.
