Viking Voyage
Viking Voyage operated in Valdosta from 2010 to 2018. It was one of four "Hi-Miler" coasters
built by E&F Miler Industries. These rides were
the only large roller coasters built by this company. The other three are:
- Scandia Screamer, sometimes called
Screamer, operated at the small
Scandia Amusement Park in Ontario, California. It operated from
1995 until it was taken down in February 2019. With a 90-foot height, it was the tallest
Miler coaster built.
- Star Jet used to be at
Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It replaced a ride
called Jet Star, which explains its somewhat odd name. It operated from 2002 until Hurricane Sandy hit the Jersey Shore in October
2012. During the storm, a large section of the pier collapsed into the Atlantic Ocean and the coaster ended up in the water.
- Wildcat operated at Wild Island in Sparks, Nevada from 2002 until 2006. It was the only coaster to ever operate at this small
Family Entertainment Center. In May 2007, the coaster opened as Scream'n Eagle at Dixieland
Fun Park in Fayetteville, Georgia. The small amusement park was renamed Fun Junction USA in 2012 and
Fun Spot America Atlanta in 2019, but the coaster still runs with its original name With a 38-foot height, it is the smallest of the "Hi-Miler" rides.
