Matterhorn Bobsleds
The mountain's structure is comprised of 2,175 steel girders.  500 tons of steel and concrete were used to make the mountain.  When it was last painted, a mixture of white paint and glass beads was used to create the snow.  This new treatment makes the artificial snow reflect sunlight much as real snow does.
