Flying Cobras

Carolina Cobra opened here in March 2009.  I have no idea why its name was changed, but this practice seems very common at Carowinds.  Six of the park's coasters have been renamed over the years.  One coaster has had three different names during its time at this park.  Most astonishingly, two coasters are currently on their fourth names!  For some reason, the little Wilderness Run coaster has had four different designations in its first 20 years.
