Son of Beast

Here was the view of the 118-foot tall vertical loop. The loop was removed at the end of 2006 when the ride was heavily modified.

I rode Son of Beast only twice; once with the loop, and once without. Both times, the ride was incredibly rough and not enjoyable at all. I am usually sad to see a coaster torn down, but I must admit that I wasn't sad at all to see this one go. Great idea, but bad execution on this one.
