Feedback to the announcement of the Disney Genie+ program was mixed, but seemed fairly negative.  Many people expressed dismay at the addition of the $15 fee per person to what was the free FastPass program.  Others expressed concerns over the possibility of extremely long lines in all of the Stand-by lines.  To get a feeling of the feedback from fans, the "Disney Genie Service - Digital Overview" video is the most "disliked" video on Disney's YouTube channel, and it presently has 12,000 thumbs down "dislikes" compared to less than 1,000 thumbs up "likes" in its first month.

Feelings about the program may change once it actually debuts in Disney's American parks.  And I think it is likely that the program's details may be altered after the parks get some experience operating the program.  Only time will tell if Disney Genie expands into Disney's non-American parks.
