Slinky Dog Dash

Pixar Animation Studios began in 1979 and was originally part of the Lucasfilm group.  It became its own stand-alone company in 1986.  Its first major motion picture, Toy Story, premiered in 1995.  Pixar was acquired by Disney in 2006.  With two dozen feature films and box office sales of around $15 billion, I think it was a great move for Disney to make Pixar a prominent feature in its theme parks.

This huge statue of Woody from the four Toy Story movies is one of the many characters from that series of movies that are scattered throughout Toy Story Land.
