Scorpion

Many coasters have brake fins mounted vertically under the centerline of the train, but Scorpion has fins mounted horizontally on the outside edges of cars.  The start of the brake run is visible on the bottom of this picture.  The blue pinch brakes are mounted outboard of both rails.
