Cobra's Curse
The rail closest to the camera has four sets of wheels attached to it. On the second set from the left, there is a piece of equipment attached to the wheel assembly. These are electrical contacts that are used in Cobra's Curse's station. When the cars pass through the station, electrical leads installed in the loading platform connect to the copper contacts installed on the train. Once the connection has been made, electricity is used to lock and unlock the riders' restraints. Similar connections are mounted along the length of the block brakes as well as on a long stretch of track at the end of the ride. In these locations, the connections are used to provide power to the electrical motors that rotate the cars. As the cars pass the block brakes, they rotate 180°. As the cars are entering the station, they are in random orientations, but the electrical motors spin all of the cars to face forward.
