Verbolten

As of 2018, there are a half dozen roller coasters with Vertical Drop Track.   Verbolten was the third roller coaster to feature Vertical Drop Track.  The first one, Thirteen at Alton Towers, opened in 2010, two years prior to Verbolten.   It was built by Intamin and has a 1-foot drop followed by a 16-foot drop.   The other four coasters that have dropping track are:

• Polar X-plorer at Legoland Billund in Denmark. Built by Zierer in 2012. 16-foot drop.
• Wonder Mountain's Guardian at Canada's Wonderland in Canada. Built by ART Engineering GmbH in 2014. 30-foot drop.
• Inferno at Cinecitta World in Italy. Built by Intamin in 2014. 16-foot drop.
• Phoenix Adventure at Nanning Wanda Paradise in China.  Built in 2017. Unknown builder and unknown drop height.
