Verbolten

After the trains make a few tight circles inside the show building, they are bought to a complete stop.   Riders experience a variety of sound and light effects as the trains sit motionless.  (The type of effects depend on which of the three stories the train is experiencing during its trip through the Black Forest.)  Then, one of the ride's best surprises happens!  The train and the section of track it is sitting on free-fall straight down 18 feet.
