Runaway Mine Train

16 Mine Train coasters between 1966 and 1997. These steel coasters do not have any inversions, lack large drops, and
usually have trains that look like an old steam locomotive. All 16 coasters have steel track. Most of the coasters
are "hybrid" rides due to their steel rails and wood supports, but a few noted below have a steel
structure and steel track. While several of the Mine Train coasters have been relocated, only one,
Excalibur at AstroWorld, has
been demolished. Here is the history of those 16 Mine Train coasters:
