Loch Ness Monster

The American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) awarded Loch Ness Monster the title of Coaster Landmark in 2003 because of the coaster's historical significance. ACE pointed out the ride's longevity, its record of being the tallest coaster when it opened, and its distinction of being the first, and now the last, coaster with interlocking loops in their decision to bestow this honor on the old yellow coaster.
