Griffon
At the extreme edges of the wide cars, there are small wheels. They normally aren't in contact with anything, just like the two wheels in this sitting about a foot above the metal walkway. These wheels are only used when the trains are parked in the maintenance shed. When the train sits on these small outrigger wheels in the maintenance area, the large wheels that normally grip the coaster's tubular rails are free. This enables the easy inspection and replacement of the drive wheels, side wheels, and up-stop wheels.
