Batman The Ride

Showing a lack of originality, Six Flags Great Adventure had two Batman-themed coasters for a decade.  I thought the Batman fad might have been fading when Batman & Robin: The Chiller was removed in 2007, but I was wrong as The Dark Knight Coaster, which prominently features Batman and Joker, opened at the park the very next year!

The waiting queue for Batman starts in a pretty park with well-manicured plants and trees, but the environment quickly deteriorates as the line approaches the station.  The area under the station is filled with trash, busted cars, and lots of graffiti.
