The Dark Knight Coaster

The may be the worst photograph I have ever posted on CoasterGallery.com.  It is blurry, but the train was moving and the loading platform is dark, so this is the best I can do.  The quality of the image is bad, but it shows the fake bullet holes on the car, as well as the individual lapbars on each seat.  The previous generation of "Wilde Maus" coasters from Mack Rides had one lapbar for each row.  This configuration made it challenging if one passenger in a row was large and the other much smaller.

The track is only 1,213 feet long, so the ride is over fairly quickly.  There isn't much light in the show building, but there are a few items placed around the track to make the ride more interesting.  There are several road signs, and a couple of fake windows and building fronts.  There is a Batman statue and a Joker mannequin, but the coaster goes by the figures so quickly that they are only visible for a couple of seconds.  There is a lot of fluorescent graffiti spread throughout the building.   And carrying on the tradition of so many other dark rides, this ride also has a front-end of a truck next to the track which flashes its lights and honks its loud horn every time a car passes by.
