     Tokyo Disneyland was the first foreign theme park built by Disney. Since it opened in the early 1980s, the park has enjoyed tremendous success.  Now called the Tokyo Disney Resort, they have built additional hotels, attractions, and a second theme park, Disney Sea, which opened in September, 2001.
