From 1972 to 1993, this ride was the Galaxy Orbit at Peony Park in Omaha, Nebraska. That park opened around 1920, but shut down in 1993. Since Peony Park ceased operations, the Big Ohhhh! at Omaha's Fun-Plex is the only permanent coaster in Nebraska.
