Michigan's Adventure

Muskegon, Michigan

Located just a few miles from Lake Michigan, this park started its existence in 1957 as Deer Park Funland. During the 1960s, it was mostly a petting zoo with just a few rides. In 1968, the park was purchased by Roger Jourden. The park's name changed to Michigan's Adventure in 1988. As time went on, it added several large rides as well as a water park and grew into the largest amusement park in Michigan. In June 2001, Cedar Fair, LP purchased Michigan's Adventure. After Cedar Fair merged with Six Flags in 2024, Michigan's Adventure was one of seven parks sold to EPR Properties in 2026.
