Corkscrew

In 1979, this park was owned by Roger Jourden and was called Deer Park Funland.  The park's first rides had arrived only a few years earlier, but Jourden wanted to turn his small petting zoo into an amusement park.  When the looping coaster opened in 1979, it was considered a very advanced and high tech thrill ride, quite change in focus for a small deer park!
