Wicked Twister
I have personally ridden six of the seven Impulse Shuttle Coasters, and Wicked Twister is my favorite one. I prefer the two twisted spikes as opposed to the ones with a straight spike. My least favorite version is the Vertical Velocity at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It was originally identical to the other "Twist & Spike" models, but was subsequently modified after it was found that its 185-foot height violated local zoning laws. Six Flags chopped off the back spike at the 150-foot level, and took the vertical twist of the front spike and laid it down at a 45° angle. The front spike was also changed to stay below the 150-foot limit. The LIMs on the back spike that were there to halt trains momentarily were removed when the ride changed. These transformations all made the ride slightly more boring than the original "Twist & Spike" copies.
