After a train is released from the chain lift, it rolls 180° to the right and drops 164 feet in a half loop. The maneuver is called a "Wing Over Drop." The second maneuver is the "Immelmann Loop" where trains perform a half loop followed by a descending 180° roll. Max Immelmann was a German pilot during World War I and developed the maneuver as a way to quickly create a 180° change of direction.
