December 13, 2014 - There are lots of little updates throughout the site, but the biggest changes are at Six Flags America and Germany's Schloß Beck Freizeitpark.   There are now pictures of Apocalypse and lots of new pictures of the older coasters in Maryland.   As I continue to add pictures from Germany, you can now view the cute Familienachterbahn at an 18th Century German Castle.

August 23, 2014 - This is the time of year when I am busy riding coasters and taking pictures, yet I still managed to add a variety of stuff to CoasterGallery.com in the past few weeks.  Here are some of the major additions from all over the world:

Grna Lund in Sweden has one of the most dense collections of roller coasters I have ever seen!  The park somehow wove four roller coasters together in order to make them fit on the small spit of land next to the water.   It is a dense tangle of track and supports, yet Twister from The Gravity Group is a phenomenally great ride.  And be sure to check out the aptly named Insane!

I finally got the chance to return to Hershey, Pennsylvania, so there are lots of new pictures from Hersheypark!  The new coasters, Cocoa Cruiser, Fahrenheit, Skyrush, and Storm Runner, have now been covered, but since they announced Laff Track will be built in 2015, I may have to return next season.

There are also two new parks from the Midwest: The Route 66 Carousel Park in Joplin, Missouri and Kiddie Park in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

June 23, 2014 - Today is all about Media Day at Six Flags Great America.  You can see lots of pictures of the brand new Goliath wood coaster built by Rocky Mountain Construction.  It is the world's tallest, fastest, and steepest wooden roller coaster.  And if that is not enough, there is an on-board video of me on the ride!  It is a fantastic ride. I never thought I would be having so much fun while hanging upside-down on a wooden roller coaster!

June 8, 2014 - I have added a bunch of new stuff in the last month, but here are some of the highlights: Efteling at The Netherlands, one of the prettiest parks I have ever been to!  Sure, I got lost in the huge kiddie area, but this fantastic amusement park is home to five coasters including what may be the best GCI dual-coaster ever, and a water coaster with a scary indoor section!

I am also adding pictures of the just-opened Lightning Run at the new Kentucky Kingdom, and Banshee at Kings Island.  There will be more added from Kings Island in the next month or two, including a behind-the-scenes tour of The Beast, but I wanted to show you their newest coaster now since the ride just opened!

April 9, 2014 - I pride myself on the diversity of parks that I cover, and today is no exception.   Liseberg is a large amusement park in Gothenburg, Sweden with a variety of rides such as Accelerator Coasters, pre-fabricated coasters, and more.  Bay Beach Amusement Park is in Green Bay, Wisconsin and features the Zippin Pippin ride relocated from Libertyland in Memphis, Tennessee.

February 7, 2014 - Today marks another big release of amusement parks.  First is two small parks in the United States: Kokomo's Family Fun Center in Michigan and Haunted Trails in Illinois.  Second is Denmark's amazing Dyrehavsbakken, or Bakken, the world's oldest amusement park.  It got started 400 years ago and features Rutschebanen, or Roller Coaster in English, the 1932 woodie that ran for nearly 80 years with a brakeman on the train.  The park is also home to Tornado, Intamin's only spinning roller coaster, which was one of the strongest and must surprising coasters I have ever ridden.

January 14, 2014 - As I post the first update for 2014, I now realize that I made a lot of changes to the website that I didn't note on these Update pages.  I promise to try harder to keep this page up to date when I add new stuff to the Gallery.

So with that in mind, here is a list of a variety of new stuff I added over the past few weeks... There are three new parks in the Chicago, Illinois area: Donley's Wild West Town, Safari Land, and Go Bananas.  I also added a ton of new pictures from parks that I visited long ago such as Darien Lake, and Lake Compounce.

Still want to see more pictures?  Here are two European parks: Djurs Sommerland and BonBon-Land.  I am particularly fond of BonBon-Land since it is the strangest amusement park I have ever been to.  Be sure to check out the pictures of some of the weirdest roller coasters such as the infamous Dog Fart Coaster, Hundeprutten as well as a story of a roller coaster accident that I was personally involved in!
